General description: the heartwood darkens with seasoning to a dark browny chestnut. Straight to interlocked grain,?producing a „ropey“ shape on radial surfaces.?Generally fine textured.

Uses: flooring, marine craft, sills, stairs, shop and boat fittings, high quality joinery, furniture.

The wood is imported from Cameroon, the Congo and Zaire.

The best logs?are earmarked for Italian production. This selection, along with our careful controls during processing and transformation, results in offering?the highest quality to the Italian market.
