General description: creamy-white to light yellow colour; usually interlocked grain, quite fine and uniform texture. possible presence of mineral traces forming brown streaking.

Uses: picture and furniture frames, internal handrails, drawer sides and linings, internal carpentry, harmonica?boards without?cursors for organs, modelling; plywood, decorative panelling.
