General description: heartwood and sapwood are indistinguishable. Colour varies depending on the weather when cut: whitish when just cut, turning to light brownish red, then tending to a yellow tone. Quite straight grain, uniform texture.

Uses: turning, in-lay work,?various utensils; plywood,?decorative veneer.
