General description: light brown heartwood with darker shadings turning orange-brown over time, thin yellowish white sapwood with gradual blending into the heartwood; straight grain, coarse texture. Soft, light and elastic wood; slightly perfumed with a typical taste.

Uses: furniture, superstructures, cabins, boat furnishings; boxes, packing cases, containers, fences, casks; engineered veneer for decorative veneering.
