General description: creamy-white to yellow straw-coloured heartwood; almost straight grain,?fine, uniform texture. Traces of latex visible on marginal surfaces.

Uses: drawing tablets, in-lay work, wainscotting, craftwork, matches, plywood panels, doors, light-weight dividers,?internal joinery, furnishings. The latex extracted is used in chewing gum production.
