General description: pinkish to intense reddish brown heartwood, often with darker veins, clearly distinguishable wide sapwood of creamy-white colour; mainly irregular grain,?fine texture.

Uses: furniture, doors, indoor finishings, small laminated articles; plywood, boxes, packing cases; engineered veneer for panelling, decorative veneeer.
