General decription:dark straw-coloured?yellow, easily oxidized? taking on a uniform brown/dark grey colour; hard deposits of calcium carbonate may be present making the surrounding wood darker; interlocked, sometimes irregular grain, quite coarse but regular texture.

Uses: boat-building,?internal/external joinery, work benches, outdoor furniture, home flooring.?A wood ideal for pilework and maritime works.
