Corà, always more aware of themes related to energy, has been producing the electricity needed by its own wood working plants to work since 1989. In 2010 the Corà group began an important investment project on the production of energy from renewable sources which, when fully operative, will be made up of 7 photovoltaic systems on the roofs of its own factories for a total installed power of approx. 4.110 kWp.
These systems will give a yearly saving of 3,200 tons of CO2, equivalent to 96,000 tons over 30 years, contributing in improving the quality of the environment in which the company works.
