A stand that tells the story of material, from its roots to the present day. Corà returns to SICAM Pordenone 2026 – one of the leading international trade fairs dedicated to components, accessories and solutions for the furniture industry – once again placing wood and its history at the heart of the experience.
Join us from October 20th to 23rd at Pordenone Fiere: four days of meetings and exchanges to showcase what has always been the driving force behind our work: inspiring spaces, ideas and projects with surfaces created… according to nature.
For the 2026 edition, we have designed a stand where material, experience and vision come together. An essential yet welcoming space, conceived not only to express the technical value of our products, but also the wood culture that Corà has developed through more than one hundred years of research, passion and commitment to quality.
A palette of wood species and tones
The first visual impact will come from the striking back wall. A sequence of engineered veneer panels will showcase different wood species, grains and colors, arranged together like a large palette from the Corà collection.
The surfaces will reveal their essence, allowing the material itself to take center stage and highlighting the variety of shades, patterns and effects achievable through engineered veneer.
The combination of different panels will create an ordered yet dynamic composition, designed to provide an immediate vision of the aesthetic possibilities available and of the ability of real wood to interpret highly diverse design languages.
Surfaces in motion
On the sides, two engineered veneer walls, featuring different milling patterns on various wood species, will showcase the material’s wide range of expressive possibilities. Light will enhance their design, emphasizing reliefs, contrasts and textures, while grooves and variations in rhythm create a continuous interplay of depth and movement.
Through craftsmanship and processing, the same color tone reveals ever-changing nuances and characteristics, demonstrating how design can transform the material. The wall therefore goes beyond the role of a simple covering to become a dynamic architectural element, capable of changing perception according to the viewing angle, the light and the pattern of the milled surfaces.
Material becomes a meeting point
At the heart of the stand, large tables crafted by stacking solid wood boards showcase the material in its most authentic form. True gathering places where people can meet, exchange ideas and bring new projects to life.
The design of the stand brings together two complementary expressions of the Corà universe: the solid, natural presence of solid wood and the design versatility of engineered veneer. On one side, wood in its raw material strength; on the other, the ability to process and recompose it to create contemporary surfaces.
