Increased durability results from using selected wood types, or using the right chemical protection treatment. One of the most important physical properties of plywood is its density, which depends on the percentage of adhesive used to glue the layers together and on the pressure exerted by the presses during assembly. Generally, the density of the plywood is higher than that of the wood used to make it.
